What do you charge per square foot to build my new home?

Every home we build is truly customized to each and every customers needs. There are many factors that are used in order to determine the cost of each and every home, to mention a few; the trim levels (finishes chosen interior/exterior), size of home, basement development, exterior selections. I am an electrician, can I do my own electrical? My friend is a roofer can he/she do my roof?

At Tri Terra Homebuilders we are open to using new trades but our trades are an integral part of our family model. Our trades are the key factor in maintaining schedules, workmanship and our high standards of quality. Using your own trade is definitely a possibility but will be at our sol discretion.

Do you charge for change orders?

We value every home we build as if it were our own. We want each of our homeowners to be extremely satisfied at the end product with no regrets. If there is something that needs to be changed we are happy to make the change. The change will be charged or credited based on its cost impact/savings. There is a no paper work charge for changes. We want your home to be tailored to your needs.

How long will it take to build my new home?

Each and every home is different. There are many elements that impact the length of time it will take to complete your dream. For example size, finishes, engineering and weather etc can alter timelines. On average it is between 6-10 months. Your timeline can be discussed during the design stages.

How do I design my home?

Tri Terra Homebuilders has an in house drafting team that will work with each homeowner to make there dream a reality. You are the artist of your own picture. From window placements to ceiling height the decisions are all yours.

How do I pick my finishes? Do I have to choose from three options?

Your home is completely customized as you wish. You do not have to choose from three options. You make all the selections based on your end vision. We can incorporate certain selections made into the purchase price if decided on during design. For all finishes Tri Terra Homebuilders has a mid grade specification that will be used for initial pricing this specification allows for movement across finishes. If a certain finish is desired above or below the specification the cost savings/impact will be discussed and adjusted.

What are your specifications?

We have a specification package that will discuss all aspects of your new home from excavation to final warranty. Book a consult with us to discuss more.

Can I make customizations?

We are a custom builder and invite customizations. Tailor your homes to your needs Make your home yours based on your taste. Truly Tailored.

How many walk-through or site visits are allowed?

Your home is one of your biggest investments. Tri Terra Homebuilders has an open door policy and invites you to come visit at any time to see the progress, make decisions, and ask questions. We ask one of our representatives is onsite as your safety is our first priority.

We usually like to schedule visits during each stage of construction as many homeowners are visual and we like to catch changes as soon as possible.

I have a lot will you build on it?

I don’t have a lot. Will you build?

Yes, we will be more then happy to help you find a lot. We are partnered with many different developers in all areas.
